Gracie's Baptism

I've always heard baptism described as "an outward expression of an inward confession."  What better way is there to show that you have new life in Christ, than to follow your decision with believer's baptism!  And tonight, surrounded by so many family and friends, Gracie took that step of faith and made that decision to follow after our Lord and Savior!  Gracie outwardly displayed tonight that her heart's desire is to continue being a faithful follower of Christ!
 "Gracie's Story"
"When I got saved, I was in the kitchen with my Mom.  We had just got done with breakfast.  I had a feeling in my heart that I wanted to follow Jesus and be a Christian.  I wanted to know that I was going to live forever telling people about Jesus and what He has done in my heart.
I wanted to do it in Brandy Thompson's pool because I had a calling from Jesus that that is where I was suppose to be baptized.
Now that I'm saved and baptized, I am now and forever more following my personal Lord and Savior and I will always read my Bible when the Lord tells me to!
I would love to thank my Pastor, Parents, Grandparents, Family, Friends, Supporters and Church Family for all of your Jesus filled encouragement."
Gracie's Life Verse:  "Don't have anything to do with godless stories and silly tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly." 1 Timothy 4:7
What an amazing testimony from a precious child of God!
Before we got started with the baptism, we had some awesome praise and worship time led by Anointed Harmony:  Suzanne, Jennifer and Missy(Gracie's Mom)
 and Wick(Gracie's Papa)!

Such an amazing show of support for Gracie!

And by the end of worship, this girl was beyond excited and ready to get baptized!
Stepping into the water and walking to Pastor Rich and Mr. Micheal

Lilly, Brandy Thompson's daughter and Gracie's friend, read Gracie's life verse and scripture from Matthew of when Jesus was baptized.
 Listening to Lilly
Gracie, you are one loved little girl!  So many family and friends came out to be apart of this special evening.

And finally, the moment we've all been waiting for...this sweet girl gets baptized.

And we get a thumbs up! :)

Gracie, we can't begin to tell you how proud we are of YOU!!  You are such a bright light to all you meet!  May you continue shining bright for Him!!  Can't wait to see how God is going to continue to use you for His Glory!  To God be the glory, great things he has done!!
~"Jesus replied, 'Let it be this way for now. It is right for us to do this. It carries out God's holy plan.' Then John agreed."  Matthew 3:15~
